For those that don't know much about Hector or know nothing at all here's a bit about him and the stuff he's doin down London.

Anyone who has heard Hector play out will know that despite the
'minimal' tag associated with many of his gigs, the music he plays can only
truly be called one thing: HOUSE.

A resident at London's Dig Your Own Rave and Kubicle nights, not to
mention his own regular SONIC party, Hector has rapidly emerged as one of
the most interesting, enjoyable and effective DJs out there, and a
stalwart on the vibrant London scene. Mixing up styles and moods but never
losing sight of the dancefloor, Hector's selection nods to house
music's past but always demonstrates a full engagement with its future; and
his sets can be relied upon to inject the party with a unique energy.
This well-honed sense of what works has led to Hector's first forays into
production, with releases for Crosstown Rebels and Dinky's Horizontal
    imprint already on the way.

Hector hails from Guadalajara in the centre of Mexico, and began DJing
at the age of 16 when he heard visiting European DJs play on their rare
trips to his city. Inspired by the sounds of Carl Craig, Moodymann,
the Timewriter & Terry Lee Brown Jnr., Hector soon came to realize that
his future lay in music. Unable to get hold of a pair of decks in his
native country, he came to England, fell in love with the music scene and
    promptly decided to stay.

A pair of 1210s later and firmly established in London, Hector made
several trips to Ibiza, working his way industriously up the DJ ladder and
spinning all over the island. On one of these trips he met and
befriended Simon Rigg, boss of Phonica Records (the record-buying nucleus of
London’s house and techno community), and on his return to London he
started a part-time job at the shop. Hectors' enthusiasm and knowledge of,
and passion for, music was obvious and he has since become one of the
    shop’s most well known faces.

What Hector learned from Phonica about music and promotion enabled him
to take his career to the next level; whilst working there he met the
promoters of Kubicle, leading to his residency at the legendary
after-hours. He soon after founded his own night SONIC at the T Bar, and took
at another residency at Crosstown Rebel Matthew Styles’ Dig Your Own
Rave; subsequent gigs at Fabric, TDK Festival and various trips back to
    Mexico have followed.

2008 Looks to be another great year for the rapidly rising Mexican
    import.:D

In the latter stages of 2005, Scott has been planning the next Superclub Series release with one of the UKs brightest brands to rival his outstanding efforts with the Gatecrasher series.

Press Scotts much acclaimed Gatecrasher residency has earned him the title of Worlds Finest Resident, as voted for by readers the world over in the Mixmag Dance Music Awards. Shortly afterwards, Release 2 in Naked Angel and release 3 in Red Line Highway smashed their way into the dance charts in quick succession with the first two releases snapped up by the worlds most respected Trance label, ID&T. UK releases on the awesome Made in England followed on their heels. Scotts next release sees a massive return from the Trance favourite with a spring release already scheduled. Watch out for more info coming very soon.
