I spent a month in qubeec and travelled round canada and i have to say it defo was mostly French not any british influence at all...

did you travel west? its very different from the east imo... vancouver, calgary and victoria are very similar to seattle and boston in the anglo influences... although i wouldnt call canada 'french' ..the canadians have developed a very strong identity seperate from america and colonial times... i love the place and the people

In being proud to be English I amnot considering things that have happened in the past: Britain has a powerful identity which I am pleased to be part of.

Im not anti british but im not proud either, im happy i was born here and had the oppertunities i have but im ashamed of our past and the way we bullied and killed and took everything we wanted, same goes for the spanish, i dont like what they did either..
