I have to disagree with that comment!!!
There is no better hard house dj than Andy Farley!!!
Maybe he is not as commercial as some of the others but his technical ability surpases anybody!

I didnt mean technically or anything, I was looking at it from a ''pulling punters into the club and making money'' point of view, I like Farley, he plays some mint stuff.
I dont think Farley is as popular up here as he is in further down the country, I should have explained this better. Sorry peeps.

thank you for helping me promote farley up here but lets face it were not going to get him unless some one has some cash to put a night on them selfs ? p.s we know quality is dead i was on about it for promise hard but weve all seen the list ov what dj's he is going to use out off the hard house list. Well i supose nights off big room tunes to come and yoji and lashes well lashes is alot harder then yoji and yoji isnt hard house so he must be going to tell lashes not to play 2 hard:evil: there is no one betta at what andy farley can do on them decks then sir, andrew farlesworth:groovy: get on your knees and pray

just gotta be happy we have a club that has decent djs on fullstop in the northeast, id rather things stayed as they were than promise trying to push more HH then going bust, then we'd have fuck all, its a business it can't keep everyone happy :)

    You're kidding, right? :spangled:

Every time I've seen Farley he's been amazing. Last time I saw him @ Telewest, he was outstanding. I'd say that there aren't many people better than him rather than many better, but each to their own...

Well, got to admit, that's a big disappointment.

You need more variety then the same couple of DJ's on rotation. I think that's why Quality didn't really take off. I'm guessing two or three from the list per HH night, after 3 HH nights, you'll have the same people on again. That might work at weekly venues, but for a monthly/3 monthly/whatever it is, it'll not work IMO.

read my previous posts, I did not doubt his ability for one second, i was looking at it from a business point of view, Mark will have to tread carefully with who he books after Quality didn't work too well.
I like Farley, I dont think he's a big name DJ who will bring people in to the club tho mate:)

No, understood what you were saying but I accept your point.

Still think Farley is a name which would definately draw a crowd. Perhaps it would be a risk to book him up here compared to say Birmingham or London, even as far up as Leeds (Sessions was packed out for Farley & Tissera in September), but it's a risk that I would take if it were up to me.... which it's not! :D  :king:

    Re: Re: just

Was this not why Quality failed? Would "big names" such as Farley have pulled in the crowds I wonder?

I know HH is nowhere near as big up here than in other parts of the country, but if you want people to embrace something new and for it to take off, you give them the best to get them hooked, not second/third rate tallent. Amber D, for instance and IMO, is definately not the next Lashes...

Quality had really tallented ressies in Kerry & Mark, in a way it's a shame that they out-shone some of the "headliners" that had been booked!
