I wasnt sayin yr mixin stinks, I dont know until Ive heard you. But the best way to build yr confidence is to take on challenges. The first time I played live I had butterflies n a sickly feeling. i was canny worried, but by the end of the night I never wanted to stop!! Now I look forward to the next time I'll DJ cos I wanna show people what I can do.

So long as you dont go claiming that you're the greatest DJ or brag about your ability, reasonable people won't be harsh on you when you do mess up, IF you do mess up! By bein modest yet assertin yourself, people will respect you, even if you let yourself down. The only people who would be harsh on you are twats and not the sort of people you'd wanna knock about with, so dont care what they think!
