Totally and utterly agree with all that.

It was a bit of fun. Now the only fun in it can really be held in the photos section, and if someone writing a reply laughs and takes the piss (just joking on of course) out of someone's picture, it gets deleted - 'thread hijacking'

I dont live in newc any more and I met alot of the friends i have from newcastle over the message board. TBH if id neva signed up it wuda taken me longer to build some of the friendships i have.

IMO the main forum was a gud thing as it meant peple could kinda get 2 know eachother a bit better and wen they went out on a friday they could enjoy the music but also make new friends.

I know u coulda used Pm's or msn for this but they aint the same.

I think promise is great (why else would i have travelled from Edinburgh every fri?) and i will continue coming but personally the main forum made it just a bit better for me.

I mainly used to Promise board to look at pics, talk about music and the occasional pc problem so suits me down to the ground!
