    promises future....??

Yeh a totally agree with the fact that promise and shindig have totally different crowds but I have alot of mates who do still really enjoy going to promise for the monthly events but enjoy the 'dig' more, which in respect does make up alot of the nubers when you think of how many other peoples freinds do the same:drunk: (hit promise on the fri then the 'dig' on sat), I mean all you have to do is look at the line up last saturday, it was the best line up i'be seen promise nock up in a fair while but yet it was still dead! I must admit I was @ digital but there was a few promise regulars that ended up coming to see Prydz as they said promise was poor??
I honestly hope it copes with the change of night & you never know they might even get alot of the more in-demand or bigger names back in just to cope with this?? only time will tell.

due to the small catchment area there will be people that do both promise and shindig, though as far as the target audiences go they are miles apart.

shindig are still putting on weekly events though, whereas promise is only monthly so a big line up at promise will tempt people that go to both to make the effort to go to promise imo, over the dig where they can go every week.

it does come down to the line ups though, its up to promise to put on line ups that makes people WANT to go to promise over shindig. the next few months looks decent so hopefully we will see this continue rather than the radio 1 friendly line ups, where we've seen far too much of jules, eddie, pearce ect imo, which is possibly what has brought the ikon crowd to promise in the first place. either way marco v & matt should rock, and looking forward to seeing what the rest of the year brings  :D

And how many times have we heard that ,
We have two bad nights and the bells of doom are ringing
The month before we had one of our best nights ever and up against 2 many djs and habit .

The 10th of september will be busy , there were very good reasons why the weekend was quite , we tried something it did not work you move on .
What is it with some peoples obsesion in Promise finishing
There in NO chance of that whatsoever .

Although this has been mentioned countless times, I dont think the door tax does any favours on the whole.
