not that i know as much about this sort of thing but hasn't it always been a bit less full when creamfields and loads of other events have been going on?

i just wouldn't bother putting promise on that weekend, you'd be losing money surely and could save it for a better lineup the following week(s) to come.

promise has done this before and bounced back.

Promise will do fine on Saturday I think - especialy if the line-ups continue with this kind of quality......it was a busy clubbing weekend, and there was a lot of competition.

I'm dubious about the rest of the stuff on at foundation though :(

The place desperately needs a refurb and some new nights, it's going to fade into obscurity if it doesn't stop trying to challenge established nights in a new venue, with inestablished ones at an old one - I'd hate to see Promise & Smile go down because the other nights/venue do :(

    I agree

I would put a monthly drum & bass night on - d&b regularly packs out student unions

rumour has it they have the r n b/hip hop market locked up... thats one fo the grapevine words I heard.

yes Newcastle needs a main r&b night to cater for the massive increase in the urban community

loads of greasy chicken bars (no cutlery required) have opened to cater for them so why not nightclubs?
