So one of the very many house/electro nights might not be filling up, easily giving room for Promise to put on a trance night once a month

promise would have to be able to fill it?

music fashions are constantly changing. Longevity doesnt mean subscribing to the latest fashion genre... look at shindig.

maybe they will go back to house? Nobody is booking Nathan Fake etc?

I'm not a promoter, so wouldn't like to go into that, but I'm sure there would be at least one place suitible for a night of Promise's reputation to have a go in Newcastle again

How many local nights could pull off the boat?

I'd say promise is on par with a night like turbulance - the difference being promise has a much more lucrative history.... Small nights in small venues may appear busy but they're tiny compared to promise.

you mention hip hop nights - have you ever been to any? skinnyman has to be one fot he biggest hip hop acts to hit town recently and there was about 100-150 people there... Or did you mean r and b?
