    6:30 was just time i could get the pitch at westgate.. if we find an open space for wednesday 7:30 that should keep everyone happy.

    Martin.. that site in Heaton sounds good.

    Bear in mind i got no clue how good/bad these placfes are - which one is gonna be the best and easiest for everyone to get to?

    Hang on.. isnt this field called Heaton-Stannington, near the Feeman Hospital? If so then its an official football ground, and not a public field. From what ive been told from someone who lives there, the gates for it are usually locked.

    If you post a place to play - make sure you state if it's a public field or not, its exact location, and the availability of public transport to and from the site.. that way we'll all know how to get there.

    Weve got 2 days to decide where to play.. so if you can post the info needed about the sites suggested, it'll help a lot.

    i dont have a clue where youre talking about

    the one i mean is in heaton and there are no gates or fuck all. the playin fields in jesmond dont have gates on em either :confused:

    You got directions to it from the centre of town? Bus service numbers?

    get the no1 from town to the nissan garages and its just there. its sandyford/heaton. not far at all. i cant remeber what the nissan garages are called but you'll know them.

    Just used the council's full-colour digital map of newcastle to find it (hi-res aerial photography) - blimey - i never knew it was there! :D

    It's easy enough to get to.. take the No.1 bus heading for 4-lane Ends, get off at the SCS Superstore near Newington Rd, cross the road into the field, and there you have an 11-a-side pitch :)
