nah when i say patience i mean towards building your reputation, your name, who you are, how you play, and where you play.

the skills of mixing and tune selection develop within this time, from the experience you get!!

thus, you get more experienced and gain recognition!

yeah but if you look at the likes of halliwell or fergie, they have natural ability and great will power to succeed. They deserve where they are even at there age!!

halliwell used to practice on one deck, for hours and hours till he perfected himself....!!! dedication!

and fergie had natural ability recognised by tony de vit, and got a lucky break with tony taking him under his wing and teaching him and giving him more experience!

    nah in everyones opinion phil!!!!

the only problem in my mind now is floor vibrations! not for feedback but people jumping on dancefloor whilst mixing could cause a lot of needle jumps!!! cos that floor is flimsy !!

but what about the traditional atmosphere created by the heat from the boiler and the light from the massive window!!and the atmosphere created by the cramped conditions!!:p

If i stick to MP3/CD that wouldn't be a problem for me.. but if I did get thru i'd be mixing the vinyl as well - guess they'd have to get some people to stomp like hell and test the vinyl stability :)
