Promise dj competition !

well its djs with contracts who cant enter officially isnt it??

i didnt know that!!thought it was only those who were promise dj's!!suppose that's a good thing like!!

i think of the message board people would go for fizz or stew from technoorgasm or che or ted or dmd from the rest!!these guys have been doing it for long enough and are good enough to play now so my money would be on one of them!!

i can see dmd, che and ted gettin through...

its not wot equipment u'v got, its how u use it! remember wen u went on my dex and sed it was ded hard to mix on em? well iv got pretty good on em now, so would like to think id b even better on dex such as 1210s.

dont worry bout it dave, my dj comp entry was mixed on a pair of gemini's i own!!!!

and the thing with those is that i love em, cos they have trained me up to use my ear and feel the pitch properly over the past years, dont have to use my finger at all!! just the pitch!


and as for me and the competition, as far as im concerned i think a total outsider is gonna win it, and i would be happy enough to get to the next round. Just hope too many people take this too seriously and have their heart on it!! just enjoy the trek! its all experience for everyone and to pick up new skills.

dave mate you've got just as good a chance as getting through as che, ted, or anyone else on the board. never heard you play a bad set yet son...

thats what i say.....but the ladies tend to disagree...

i certainly dont expect to win, or even get through!!but i think that's the best way to go for this one!!i think having our own nights like vuzz and lost are better ways of playing than hoping to win a massive competition!!but everyone should still enter anyway!!

remember, we are only young, from 18 - 25, look at those superstar djs ahead, they are in their 30's!!
we still have 10 years or so to build up our support and following and to gain our reputations and of course our name as headline DJ!
