    Loaded is slick as fuck

That Arc in the Sky track is fucking awesome!

I love old Sander so much. Aka (Sam Mix) is probably one of my favourite from that era of his.

Yeah same, I always remember wanting to hear it in Promise but couldn't make a night when Askew was on. I always remember Laverty saying he played it and absolutely rinsed the place! So here it is:

It's all about the little bass note at the end of every 4 bars, and when it kind of drops down a key and comes back up.

and the eerie Pads... and the breakdown... and the Percussion... and the drop. God yeah it's fucking mint.

    Tribe vibes.

Yeah he was one of the one producers who got the techy style right for me. He was driving & dark, whereas most of the others were just all about bit silly stabby noises. To think he went from that to what he is now is unreal. He can't possibly like it, they are polar opposites.

Nail on head. He's not the first like, look at how Guetta started out - producing Deep House compared to what he throws out now...

Well to be fair the majority of the house scene did it back in 2004-2005 with big room electro house & totally ruined the scene for a good few years. Sasha being a key culprit! A whole generation of producers/DJ's suddenly jumped ship for an extremely shit fad and never recovered. Then they all tried their hand at minimal, and the techno producers jumped ship as well! At least most of them recovered. Now we have trouse and some of the worst mainstream dance music in years. Fucking morons!

Oh and as a side note, people say that music comes and goes in cycles, and I've seen that to be true. We're coming to the end of that 10 year cycle now and house is massive again and at it's peak - I'm interested to see if (when) it gets utterly ruined by a huge fad again in the coming few years.

    People are fickle.

BUT ANYWAY, THIS THREADS ABOUT THE TUNES - so back to it. x

I remember when Hardwick dropped this for the first time, I don't think I've ever been happier with a trance break in my life. Totally off my lips. Good times and memories with this thread.
