because if ur sittin in GK headquarters, getin loadsa unknown random ppl sendin cds in, u aint got time to listen 2 em all, so u pick the ones that stand out, like u sed, which i agree wit

in your case, this is a competition, uve asked ppl 2 send cds in, therefore your obliged 2 listen 2 all the cds, instead of picking out the ones that stand out wit nice colours nd stuff...

As I stated early on, presentation was not an issue in this competition. I will listen to all the CD's irrespective of packaging, is that clear enough David?

My advice was as a general rule for those mailing out CD's.

some of u need an attitude check if u want to get anywhere. I always put 100% into my cds/mixes, wether its for a me, a mate, or a competition. Why bother doing it if u thing 'its only a laugh/comp'?

for the record im not disagreein wit anything anymore, i was arguing coz in my early posts i thort u WERE judging against ppl's cd covers, as u can see in my last few posts i understood that u werent judging like that, i jus felt it was neccessary to point out that sendin a cd to crasher as an unknown random dj in a million was different to sendin one to your comp, nd i have explained why

i kno now, and hav known for ages coz it was explained to me, that you dont really giv a flyin fuk about the cd covers for your comp, which is fine, so can we jus leave it at that??

just finished me final mix, recorded and im very happy with the outcome, not saying its gonna get me anywhere but its an acheivment for me as my mixings improved a lot over the last few weeks sso am chuffed anyways.
gonna drop it in the post tommora nite, got nowt to loose..

do you have to have trackmarkings?
an do you get marks for arkwork?
an which matters more, tune selection an build of the mix, or tightness of the beats?
an how did half the people who have asked questions in this thread actualy work out how to use a computer?
an what tempo do the mixes have to be?

an will i get marked down if i put dbd's mix of the dawn in it?
