    fixed that for yer.

I can see this from both sides - wicked booking, but the timing obviously shows they're trying to milk the prodigy cow in town on the same night.

I know for a fact having worked at HMV, that they remerchandise their music/video displays based on what events and bands are on every week, and a lot of other businesses do the same in order to generate sales. I fail to see what your problem is? :)

I think your comment about "Real Prodigy fans" is a bit harsh. I first heard of them because of Firestarter, (and I was 11 at the time). Since then I've listened to all of their albums, some of their stuff I like, some I don't.

Dissing people because they discovered an artist off the back of one song is a bit narrow-minded. Not everyone was as "cool" as you by discovering and enjoying them first ;)

FREE after party?? why dont you spend £???? your cash n put it on then?
Or why dont prodigy put a FREE gig on for all the "Real Fans" instead of charging £30!!!?? .... strange that?

I can imagine after costs & Cosmic being Small there's no cash To be made anyway! ... Does that make you happy now?? :fart::mrt:

hardly fixed it , as I NEVER TAKE MYSELF SERIOUSLY EVER.

if you read the thread my main gripe is the passing aside / comment ''that it is highly likely that the prodigy and dizee rascal will be at the cosmic'':

I don't think that they will: thats just my opinion :

    shut up man:

there will be 300 - 400 people there at 6 quid a pop, thats nearly 2500 pounds

its 600 quid to hire, a grand maybe for thornhill and you need next to no promo

so i figure its an easy grand profit:

I would love it if prodigy put on a free afterparty

    :screw:

Seriously melt, this is the most passive aggressive attempt at obtaining a guestlist I've ever heard in my life.

"I'll never got to the Cosmic again as long as i live" = Playing hard to get, the oldest trick in the book.

Tell you what, I'll have a word with the muppets and see if i can get you a £3 queue jumper.

I'm sorry that the credit crunch is affecting you this much, but we really are all in the same boat.
(apart from the greedy promoter who's putting on the afterparty, but he's told me I can have a go on the yacht he's going to buy with the proceeds. I dont think it too great a stretch of the imagination to assume that the prodigy may also be in attendance).
