This isn't an assanitation... this is a war

In the last gulf war and the following uprising hundreds of thousands of civilians were murdered.... I don't think we're justified to start round two of this.

Where is the justification of killing hundreds of thousands of civilians... this is a war about oil and nothing else!

Chris has been filling u full fo shite... tis a well known and undisputable fact Iraq is one of the most oil rich countries there is.

They currently have 11% of the worlds oil reserves - the US have a mere 5.4% and see non of the iraq oil money (they have their main deals with russia and france)

    lol@spence :D

America have bodged removing saddam from power so many times its a joke... diplomacy is the only humaine way of solving this problem.

I just listened to the news - every1 knows Osama is anti Saddam (Saddam is a person who uses islam as a blanket - he wasn't a practising muslim then all of a sudden he turned to islam and demanded the protection of the islam world - Osama hated that)... Yet the american governement are now telling us they ahve a tape of Osama encouraging support for Saddam? This stinks of fraudulant propoganda to me :p

There are a million ways saddam could be removed from power - but these ways would just solve iraqs problems - they wouldn't get the americans the oil.... this is about oil people.

Joe man, get a grip. Calling Blair a puppet to Bush is just stupid. That's the sort of thing the tabloids come out with. Do you really believe that??

Right or wrong, Blair believes in what he is doing. Maybe he has reasons we don't know about or can't be made public for whatever reasons. Either way he seems certain that Saddam Hussein is a real and imminent threat. Right now he's personally risking everything on this strategy and I think he can only be doing it for what he sees as good reasons.

My view is we can only go to war with Iraq with a 2nd UN resolution. If we do it without we'll split NATO and the UN and wreck relations with muslims and the Middle East for decades.

    You think?!?!?!?

I know I'm highly opinionated but I think the above is tosh... (cept your last paragraph which i agree with :D :D :D), he may see them as good reasons but the onyl reasons I can see are that British/American relations will be strengthened (even though they're already our strongest allie) BP (who currently see non of the money) will make billions and and war is always good for public votes (once the war has started and we're winning public opinion always changes and the candidates come out looking like saints... labour are losing massive votes at the moment if we go to war with Iraq and win they will defo be reinstated - I thinks).

Blair is a puppet.... It isn't just me and the tabloids who think this....
