    I don't mind short private plates but they tend to cost 1000s. My ex's dad has something like RW10, I'm guessing it cost more than most of our cars.

    Cheap private plates on normal cars are not cool at all.

    as are people who can't afford specialised number plates so resort to buying cheaper number plates the cunningly shifting the positions of letter and the 'bolt' that holds it on to make it look MORE like what the actually wanted in the first place.

    it's not big, it's not clever, we know you're a cheapskate that couldn't afford the real thing.

    Thats the most rediculous post I have read in ages :lol: Typical comment for someone who doesn't know the first thing about what they are talking about!

    As for the plates, I can't really see the problem, it's just a little more personalised after all. I wouldn't bother spending the money on one though, theres much better things.

    IMO I think its bollocks to say a nice car looks crap without a plate, it makes absolutley no difference :lol:
