Used to do stuff like this quite a lot when we at school, used to have "team steals" on the night during parties, spilt up into teams and have an hour to get the best steals.

best things I personally got were a tree from someones garden and the marker for the first tee at tynemouth golf club. the marker was massive and took two of us to carry back to the car, which was a struggle.

the rock got placed under our geology teahers desk at school and to this day he hasnt a clue where it came from.

other notable ones were:

the sign from the TA barracks in tynemouth
two picnic tables from some pub near monkseaton (we returned but found they bolted into the ground the second time)
a full skeleton from school
rugby post covers

i stole a framed poster from agora last night

canny good frame too

I was going to pinch something from our hotel in Liverpool but it was the shittest hotel I've evr stayed in and they had nothing worthy of stealing, th eonly thing possible was a sheet of wallpaper but looking at it made me feel sick it was soooooo bad, and everything else was nailed down, even the bloody fire regulations on the back of the door, could tell I was in Liverpool

i managed to get a set of traffic lights a few years back

now that is a good steal

I climbed up the walls of a town hall in France to steal the french flag that a statue at the top was holding. Then broke my ankle when i jumped down. Still got the flag though, it's massive.

when i was leaving the house this morning, to my sheer delight i saw a big van full of gas boards, sign's etc parked in my street.

My living room now boasts a 'Wall's ice-cream sold here' sign, one of the big street ones that blows in the wind.

Think i'm gonna put it back one night, it's fucking ugly and takes up to much room. Not the best beer souvenir in the world.
