yeah thats was a fake, the pic just posted is real. and its got a couple of very interesting features, first of all it will be backwardly compatible with all nintendo consoles. I.e. you will be bale to download games from the nes, snes, and n64 to play onit Also they still havent released the controller which must mean its very different indeeed, and could change the way everyone plays games.

yeah there were rumours that the controllers could even be sqeezable!! as well as having the tilt capability.

That does look canny good, wish the people at sony had as good imaginations as some of the fans.

Having said that though after watching the two E3 showcase of what the PS3 can do, I'm actually speechless the thing is a dream come true I cannot believe the power that the GPU and that cell processor can produce.

The bit with Doctor octavious from spiderman is unbelievable, think I'm going to start my PS3 fund starting next pay check.

heh yeah i much preferred the new controller on that one, tho after the floor opened at e3 and it seems from the responsonse of the crowd saying that new boomerang controller looks shit they placed a sign next to it saying it was just a prototype so they will probs be changing it now.

and btw there have now been reports that the ps3 will be stupid expensive when it comes out. to be expected really considering how amazingly powerful it is but reports of $450-$500 which usually equates to £450-£500 when it comes out over here aswell is a lot of money!

do you reckon they will do a global release like xbox r doing?

unlikely to be fair. both ninty and sony have always favoured a jap release months before a north american one and then europe trailing behind. Could be a big problem as the xbox will be over here before the years out if wot they say is true and then we will have to wait possibly upto a year later for the other two. PS3 is scheduled for March 06 but they didnt say where so dont know if thats for jap or north american but still will leave a uk release well down in 06 either way. Revolution has been rumoured to be mid 06, june/julyish so again im guessing maybe both of them out for xmas next year which is a hell of a long time!

i could be wrong and they may well try the global release especially with being so far behind the xbox but going on past experiences im guessing something like ive said will be closer to the mark.

I will be buying the xbox 360 then selling it and buying a PS3 when it comes out

final fantasy xi is already out now though so just buy it.
