picotto last night!

I pretty much agree, apart from the kiddy techno bit cos he does play alsorts of stuff.

Yeah it wasn't exactly a set you walked away from to go straight on the internet to see where he is playing next. But it was a good set just not what i want or expect from him.

maybe not for u anyways - but for a lot of people they wud go and do that such as me. I wasn't there at the empire but every dj (if he did which i'm sure he didn't) has a bad day now and again - people that don't like him simply don't need to go - just like I won't go and get all excited about a house music dj - i'm not sayin they're bad - just that it's not my preference

Does Picotto still drop in trance breakdowns. I thought that was when he was best - harsh techno one minute , next into a euphoric breakdown. Made him quite unique

hes better now tho. still kinda tech trance hybrid but much better. more dirty drilling techno sound but still unique

One of the best things I heard him do was after playing some punishing, nasty techno all nite at crasher, he dropped the chillout mix of Energy 52 Cafe del Mar for about 5 mins. Then back into techno. I love it when people do different things. I fuckin love celebrities!

when i seen him at gk leeds nye 2001 he opened his set with that was class. i agree picotto is at his best when he plays evil techno and drops the odd trance breakdown in.

i use to love it when he dropped pulsar into his sets.

He was awesome that night. Remember when 'Awesome' kicked in! Felt like I'd been knocked for 6 after he finished it! Variation is the key I reckon. A little trance breakdown makes the techno sound much better when it comes back in

yeah me 2. the first 2 times i seen picotto he played a few trance breaks in his sets. was class when he dropped lizard at leeds townhall i'll never forget that! what a nite!

i still like picotto now tho he's deffo one of my fav dj's!
