    aye, unless he gets new material - his "80's observational comedy" will age and he'll disapear. i had so many high hopes for max and paddy - there was funny bits but not enough for a series.

    Well he'll always have an audience with that generation. He probably won't maintain this level of immense popularity but he'll continue to do well for many years. We won't expect our kids to piss themselves laughing at him. It was the same for our folks when comparing their generations observational comedy to ours.
