yeh I get that too. there are some geordie words and phrases that are better than any others though. I always liked 'get wrong' and 'hadaway and shite'

There's only about a hundred miles between our regions but the language barrier is obv still there.

I used to have quite a Doncaster accent when I first left home for Uni but i managed to lose it over the time I've been up here. I don't have a Geordie accent though, in fact most often I get told I talk posh.

(When I was in London this wkend I seemed to develop a really broad Donny accent though, just to prove I wasn't southern! lol)
