    The same argument could be applied for what you described as being on the toilet floor and whiteying everywhere.

    Is it really worth going into semantics?

    Almost a week ago to the hour me and my brother ended up having a fight in my flat, it was a combination of his state of mind (he's been through some shit recently) and the fact that he drinks too much too quick that started it...now i am not a violent person and when i thought back, that was the 1st fight i'd had since year 9 at school (1995 for me) but because of how much i'd had to drink/needing to defend myself i had to put him down, it was me or him.

    I look back and it scares me how violent i was to him because i'm not like that. Even in the years up to it, no matter how wrecked i've been, i've never snapped/reacted like that... IMO if you are drunk and something happens that requires restraint/clear thinking, not many people would be able to keep control.
    Then there are dickheads that just love to fight anyway, but they deserve all they get :D :up:

    that is why i refuse to drink in consett anymore cos there are too many dickheads who want to pick fights

    Drinking causes more problems than a night on the drugs ever would. Ban drinking, legalise drugs, Less fighting!

    Do you have absolutely any evidence to support that theory? Which drugs?

    Saying that people "can't" handle their drink is essentially a figure of speech. We all know what is meant by it and yes some people are violent anyway, but alcohol can invoke violent tendacies, especially in people who are already violent.

    It's all about knowing your limits and some people have none, especially after a drink.
