Iv just purchased a hi-powered Harpoon gun. It will go thru steel at ten yards and is totally legal. I was going to get a crossbow but this (being pump operated) keeps its power, even if it isnt used for years.

I cant wait to be burgled now.

mate my house is like a fortress, hence why im pissed off...the guys that broke in must have been total pro's cos they kicked in a door with 2 yale locks on and 2 security bolts, then disabled an alarm that is meant to be very secure.....

We do have double glazing, and the opening parts of the windows are right at the top..... you cant climb thru..

Luckily our landlord sent workmen over today who installed a new door with more security bolts, we also now have a new alarm and a security light for the yard with a motion sensor.....the ligh bulb is so bright you could get a tan off it......

and..... i've asked my dad to bring up my pride and joy.....

out of curiosity, did they kick a hole in the door and climb in it or did they kick the entire door off? and what locks where on the door? i.e.. deadlocked (key lock situated in the door handle) or was just the top Yale night latch on?

they kicked the door right below where the deadlock is, the whole lock got buckled and came straight out. The top bolt wasnt on.... but still...they must have given the door a good few kicks because it was quite a sturdy door.

don't knock my car.... did i mention it was featured as an extra in ITV's hit drama 'lawless' starring Trevor Eve... 1.5 seconds screen time as he ran past it. made me proud.

big DVD collection eh? didn't know that many Harry Potter and Jackie Collins novels had been adapted for the big screen....

yeah I wish mate, but the landlord doesnt really care if we get burgled. We've had a new door put in and its not solid hardwood, plus the two chimps that installed it did a GASH job, theres lik 3-4 mm of space on all sides of the doorframe. We have a stronger lock and two bolts now tho
