I never said it wasnt bad, but there is an obvious tendency to highlight that it occurs here when in most other cities and towns (not just Newcastle) it gets glossed over. Hence creating a view that its the hell hole of Britain

Most of this is comes from Billingham, Redcar, Hartlepool. THere is only about 4 chemical processing or manufacturing plants within the borough boundry. And before any1 does a search, most of the places that it finds are outside

its considered the hell hole of britain because it has a huge drug problem and a high crime rate.... Not because they don't gloss over the facts

boro is the shits! but on a plus side, all the skaggies will be lookin smart now they have a new range of clothing, which they happly stole out of my mates car....which was broke in to twice within 3 days! along with another mates car which was stolen altogeather the previous week!

Fuck the statistics... do you believe everything you read? I am from that area, I have lived the vast majority of my life there and while I accept Middlesbrough doesn't have the highest values when it comes to socio-economics, it is nowhere near as bad as its made out... fuck statistics, you yourself have said don't always believe what you read.
