Loads of companies don't want to let staff have any pay rise at all

we get an annual 2% pay rise, sometimes the company council negotiate more i think and we also get a pay rise that goes on how well weve performed through the year

I've had a 7% pay rise every year since I started my current job

thats pretty good that

i think i'll only get about a 1% - 2% when i get my appraisal in 2 weeks time

I dont' know anyone who gets more than a couple of percent

My boss loves me, I love appraisal time. I was the best at my job last year. Got more business for the company than anyone else last year (there's only 2 other full time people but that's besides the point! )

Try living in london...alot of young professionals/graduates etc get paid just the same as anywhere in the north, lets say 16/18 grand a year and when your paying 130 quid a week to live in a flat...think about it...
your probably in a better position than most

most peep's do mate my gripe is the fact the cost of even just driving to work has gone up £15 a month in petrol in the last year because of duty :evil: fuckin hell soon im gunna have pay work for letting me come in LOL
