Was good to me you as well Allie at long last, Resistance was wicked and shindig was good as well, can remember him playing a remix of Eminem near the start and a house remix of Superstlyin at the end, quality tunes all night
Last night was one of the best nights I'd had at Shindig for a long, long time. Definitely wouldn't go as far as Allie, there were a couple of mixes that I thought did work (not beat-matching wise, but sounded a bit rough) and every so often the music maybe got a bit boring for my liking but overall it was well sweet. I'd definitely go see him again, the sooner the better!!! Resistance before hand was the best for a while too, I'll put a seperate post up about that though!
apologies for the no show @ Resistance lads, but of a problem when paintballing under the influence :spangled: but of an accident.
Woolford was class on saturday - much better than I was expecting. Groove Armada's Superstylin right at the end - superb Good to see it really busy - probs cos a lot of people hadn't heard Carter was cancelling
Re: Paul Woolford Agreed he is amazing, saw him at basics about a month ago wish i had been but my dumb flatmate changed her mind at the last minute:evil: i tried to text you but vinny had given me the wrong number
Cant remember a great deal about Shindig to be fair - I remember when he played French Kiss. Saw a few people in Shindig - G.H., Darkdrums - nice to meet u, Tomas Resistance was good - didnt want to come off the decks - grrrr!! Couldnt hang about after my set. Who's this 'JL' then Allie? Justin Long?
The Groove Armada remix is by a dude called Loz, it's comin on Krysko's new label pretty soon. The Eminem remix was class! Ross > That's the one dude
Spot on! Aye, I had a quality night all round... Resistance was quality, cheers Ross and SelectaJay, (I'll put a proper post up soon about it) then Shindig was the best its been for a while imo.
Not sure, I'm an umemployed bum again now so I ain't got much money... have to see. I thought that Eminem remix was steaming dump.
thought it was quite amusing watching all the haircuts, ripped jeans, scarfs and hats singing along to it, not a tune i would buy tho.
Wasn't too shit, just totally unnecessary imo. Was a prety mint night all round though. Fullmarks Mr Woolford.
