    Alcohol is generally considered to be the oldest drug - it occurs naturally in rotting fruit in enough quantities to have an effect. Has been commercially produced for thousands of years.

    In low to moderate doses, weed is much more dangerous than alcohol, although the consequences of an alcohol overdose and chronic abuse are worse.

    Alcohol all the way, down with dismal noxious fumes of all kinds :)
