tuna sweetcorn and pancakes... do you think you might need to have a word with yourself

i havent made pancakes, after going out and buying the batter - i have bought a pub steak instead

i did find a tenner on the way home though so that compensates for the lack of pancakes :angel3:

    Why?

I just had tuna, cucumber, red pepper, salad cream to clog it together and slices of lettuce in mine.. Lush.

Buying the batter = needing to have a word.

Might have a go at making some of these later, will satsuma juice do instead of lemon juice?

i always consider pancakes to be a sweet rather than savory - i have just been talking to someone who had sausage and bacon pancake this morning

i buy batter due to the fact the ingrediants are not essential items in my kitchen i dont even buy sugar.. to make a pancake from scratch would mean i had a packet of sugar flour and whatever else stuck in my cupboard for another year! a 34p batter mix is easier and i can just throw it away

sophie introduced me to the delights of ice cream on pankcakes, it was mint, panckaes are so versatile and tasty, mine even tasted nice without anything on, so i noticed when cooking them, it was so hard to put each one on the plate and in the oven without eatin it:oops:

    :( missed pancake day like.

    damn those things are nice.

not on the ceiling they arent, but otherwise they are lovely.

I can't believe flour and sugar arent in your cupboards!! You are mad! how do you make pies? how do you make meatballs? batter? cheese sauce/white sauce/bread sauce ANYTHING?

And sugar? What about cakes and cookies and biscuits and flapjacks and buns and stuff?

    DO YOU GUYS NOT COOK??

    I love cooking!!!

They probably just buy all that stuff at the supermarket and cut the middle man out.

You do know you can make pancakes on days other than pancake day right? It's not against the law.

but if you buy it in the supermarket its shit, you fill yourself full of shit and hydrogenated fat and salt.

you do it yourself, you know exactly what went in, and its more satisfying really!
