nice one, I can't make it to goodgreef, but I will try world HQ as well. Are there any mailing lists for these sorts of nights that I can subscribe to, I never seem to get offered flyers for anywhere except ikon/sea/the boat, but I always take flyers for promise, so I never seem to know whats going on.
p.s. scruf, whats wrong with newcastle students!

I like the old man, I just don't like talking to him for hours...

My spot at Natwest is the best, nee-one gets past us!!!

Half the Newcastle students act like total ra's, that's why we don't like 'em so much - no offence Jim :D

try popping into places like Kathmandu, Union, etc, to grab all the flyers, and also look out for The Crack - a free monthly listings magazine. Also, keep coming back to this message board and looking thru this forum :)

Newcastle uni has one of the highest percentages of students from public schools backgrounds in the country. I tend to ignore the ra's. For some reason it is a ra thing to sit at the front of the room in lectures.

Jim> your right theres nothing wrong with newcastle students - he's just jealous at our superior intelect:D

also if you want flyers the best place to go is the small record shops such as RPM

newcastle students - Ra ra's. get over yourselves, and realise that polo shirts and deck shoes are NOT the height of fashion.

Depends what you do. Newcastle is within the top five universities for virtually any medical science based subjects (dentistry, pharmocolgy, medicine etc). :chill:

hey I am not a ra, I have don't have lots of money just given to me, I earn it over the hollidays. There are a lot of ra's at newcastle but they tend to do stuff like "countryside management" and other courses where they only have to turn up at 11am and finish at 12:00, I do mech engineering, and we have no ra's on the course at all. Ra's piss off most other newcastle students as well, they clogg up our union! Anyway, I know a couple of ra's that aren't even that well off, they just have the ra attitude.
Anyway thanks for the tips on finding good flyers. Me and some mates have been picking a few of them up and going to some places that we had never even found before. plus I have found a good map of every pub/bar in newcastle, and have been picking out areas and then going to every place on the map.
    Thanks again everybody.

    also, where is RPM
