For me (if you cloud fill it) the Carling Academy is where it's at in reagrds to venues.

decent bill of DJ's & the club filled, it would be amazing.

Iv'e been saying the same, but if you look, the ban has been in place now for nearly a year in Glasgow, where you'd expect to be loads of hassle with this sort of ban, but it seems to have worked.

i remember going to that sea NYD thing thinking "cor blimely, promise is back" however it was a load of shambles and too bright, and too posh tbh.

i think i walked past a empty bottle of moet in a nice steel moet cooler when i walked in, which at promise would of been a ket riddled radgie.

not really the same is it. happy days

I think Gary is trying to butter me up so he gets a booking :D Just kidding...

    Yep, you're right.

As I said earlier, there is a venue on offer (very modern, a bit like digital) but its huge, well not huge, but 1300 capacity. Getting the big hitters in as you say, is what I'm aiming for really. Please somebody agrees.

hmmm, i still rekon the first month or so is going to be madness like.

people are expecting alot of places to close down because of it. i dont think this will happen - but it'll damage profits.

capacity is 2000 so it would have to be a pretty big event

I'd be amazed if it happens but all the best Pete B!

was up there a few weeks ago. It was grim for the first night but after that you just get used to it...went to a club and only smoked 1 all night (usually do in about 20)

All I can say is its a 'very potential space'. I dont want to spill the beans on anything just yet. If you PM me I'll tell you, you can tell me your opinion etc..
