    you're jus jealous cos we kicked the eastern european wasteland that is boro out!!

    west/north yorkshire is good...

    i'm from yorkshire and ;

    1) i only ever wore a flat cap once ( when i was 8 in a school play)
    2) My wallet is full thank you very much.
    3) i don't know how to speak sideways.

    this is definate stereotypical county-ism. and i take great offense.

    and the midlands. featurless grey landscape full of spongers.

    lol most of the midlands is a shithole, but at least we can admit it... yorkshire is a hell pit with the exception of harrogate and errr... york? it amuses me how people from yorkshire are so defensive of places such as - rotherham, doncaster, huddersfield, wakefield, sheffield, leeds, castleford, hull, scarborough, halifax, barnsley, dewsbury... all total hell holes...

    oh yeh and especially bradfwod... :lol:

    midlands is full of spongers? south yorkshire is one of (if not the) most poverty stricken area in the country!! :p

    in your opinion, it's a hell hole. i'm from just outside leeds, towards Ilkley and it's great.

    i think i win that one...

    lol i lived slap bang between shef, barnsley and cruddersfield tho so i think i can be forgiven for having a bad view of yorkshire :D

    over reliance on heavy industry, meadow-hell and 60's planning fuck ups is the reason why sheffield is dead... :down: its a shame!

    and arthur scargill lives in barnsley.. enough said... :p
