I'd go to birmingham, i didn't want to come up here i wanted to go to leeds but i'm glad i did now, i've had an awesome time since i got here, and met loads of friends for life

i think your just a little intimadated by the fact you'll be so far away, but tbf manchester is still far enough away that it will still be a mission for travelling there.

Also it will take you longer to get to manchester, and its also more expensive on the train to get there than birmingham, because you can't go on virgin to manchester. Thats why i have never ever got the train home to manc cause its a right ball ache, it takes four fucking hours, wll so my mates say.

but your right about the trains takes 3.5 hours to get to Manc

and birmingham has godskitchen which has got to be a plus point, manchester doesn't have a super club

It sounds harsh now but once your at Uni and enjoying yourself, that won't matter as much. Of course, u'll miss them and everything but that initial dreaded feeling of being miles away from everyone will soon go.

It takes 3, I used to do it every other week or so but the trains are minging, TransPennine Express, it worked out quicker to change over but it only cost £17 for the direct so used to just persevere.

I didn't like being at Uni in Manchester though
