had a good time at this, the tunes were good pretty mcu hall night and the crowd was spot on seen a fair few off this board, all good crack!

not 100% convinced on the venue but a a decent little night that they have got going on. cheap enuf aswell, them jager-whatever the fucks, were spot on for £2.50 until they sold out

Canny night, Jagerbombs had me blitzed. Matt was quality, canny few familiar faces out. All in all good crack :groovy:

To be honest, i thought friday was a bit of a joke.

I went down for 1 reason only, to see Proudy DJ, along with around 10-15 of our mates who had travelled from all over the north east to support him playing the gig. Im no longer into trance and in all honesty would never have set foot in the club on friday had i not been going purely to support him when playing.

He was booked to play and given the set time of 2.30am - close, only to be pulled to one side at 1am (after we had all paid to get into the club in support of him) and told that he wasnt needed to play the night, while he was stood on the dancefloor with records, cd's etc in tow.

The reason given for this was that Matt was playing until 2.30am and Luke was playing the last hour, though then come 1.30am Luke is on the decks and playing to the end of the night, so is given a 2hr set after Proudy was fucked off.

For a night with the reputation and history of Promise to have this shocking level of organisation really is laughable, though tbh im not sure whether the decision was made by Mark or other people involved in the night getting ideas above their station.

Either way it was a total shambles, and thats not even starting on how that night as it is now can hang under the same banner as the night circa 2000 - 2005, and blatantly serves to achieve little else than to line the pockets of those involved and bleed the name dry until there is nothing else to gain from it.

Thats shocking , especially when I heard on Thursday night that he'd been pulled from the line-up? I had a mint night anyway, was good to see loads off here Ive not seen for a while. Matt was as good as ever! I hammered them Jaegerbombs all night n they didnt seem to do a thing to me, but it was probably just me. Who's on at the next one, Riley and Durrant?

If thats true mate then that makes the situation even worse, as noone told him until 1hr 30m before he was due to play yet clubbers attending the night knew 24hrs in advance?
