not at all si, I just can't be arsed to debate with someone too ignorant to see the hypocricy in his own statement.

Your entire education was based on the opinions of others... We reach the positions we're at today through the experiences of those we're introduced to. I chose to study under those at conflict with your perspective and because you don't understand the teachings you make sneery arrogant comments.

You didn't invent your moral code si, you inherrited it.

  That last line was brilliant, i'll give you that

My comment wasnt made at what you said, more the fact that the wording of your post made it sound like you only believed in what this person/book/entity tells you to.

Are you actually making this stuff up youself or just copying it from one of Andy_Rocks textbooks? If you are referring to my school education then you aren't really in a position to comment unless you can name and describe every educational facility ive ever intended (which might surprise you). If you are referring to my life education then again, don't put me into the 'pied piper' category; I am smart enough to make my own decisions and form my own beliefs.

I'm not the one judging the standards by which you live... I'm not telling you your an idiot for believing whatever you believe... I'm not the one creating flying spaghetti science...

There's only one person being judged son.

It doesn't matter what school you went to si, you were taught someone elses beliefs; similarly it doesn't matter what your moral code is - you inherrited it from the conscience of others.

I believe what I read in volumes of deeply insightful religious scrolls, books & teachers... how is this any different to you believing anything you read in your books?

Its all degrees of faith, just some seem more fathomable to the occidental mindset; big bang & a deity are both complete leaps of faith, we've just reached different perspectives on the origin of existence because we've been subjected to different sources of information throughout our lives.

what evidence is there for the big bang andy?

    FUCK ALL.

there are things that indicate that its one of many possibilities.... and there are elements in the torah which indicate it could be divinely inspired.

theyre both degrees of faith, you're just too ignorant to realise :D

and neither am i ! i'm simply saying i dont believe what you do, and in my opinion i think anyone living their life in any other way than being the best they can be is an idiot , listen if you need to belive in all this greater power bullshit to be a better person then alls the better for you , i personally had catholisam thew down my neck much the same as any other kid in my school , i chose not to belive it and i'm still a good human and i live my life by MY moral code which is do best by family , freinds and others ,i didn't need the word of got to tell me it is wrong to murder my fellow man! or that thou shalt not steal , i know my actions reflect on other people so i chose not to do anything that might inflict harm or emotional suffering

did i need religion to come to this conclusion NO! it's just common fuckin sense

i for one arnt judgeing you just more trying to understand why such an itelligent man could believe such crap!

   (there goes my street cred)

cosmic expansion... how does this explain the conception of the universe, watching a baby grow does not explain how it was concieved?

hubbles law... maybe I'm confused, but isnt hubbles law the foundations of the above theory? why are you citing the same evidence twice?

helium levels... theres a profusion of helium in the universe, how is this evidence for big bang? it simply means theres a lot of helium in the universe  we dont know where the universe came from or for that matter where the elements came from... you're twisting scientific observation to compliment your beliefs!

Well when my parents retire they are selling their house, buying a house boat and going on a 5 year trip round Europe :king:

ps i've just noticed this in that article

    ""a) Racism and anti-Semitism are part of the pedagogy of Waldorf schools;
"b) An increasing number of Jewish parents are removing their children from Waldorf schools; and
"c) Anti-Semitic incidents take place at Waldorf schools, during which the following statements are made: 'You are not allowed to be Jewish, it would be better if you stopped learning Hebrew. And generally: don't attend Jewish religion classes, the Holocaust was necessary in order to atone for negative karma, the sacrifices were necessary and thus the Holocaust is legitimized'" [60]"

I support a jewish football team so i'm not convinced that the above is true

heres a deep thought for you pyscha; you stated you didn't need a [g-d] to tell you that murder is wrong.... I'll ask you why did you know this.

To believe we are born with a sense of right & wrong contradicts the scientific theories you're peddling :D
