I actually stayed in last NYE! Got up at 4am and went to Conspiracy at Rockshots instead.

NYE is always such an anti-climax. Have only had one that really lived up to expectations, at Nice in 1997/98 (I think).

No plans for this one yet.

last NYE i went to a house party, and ended up absolutly bollaxed by 12, then we all went and set off loads of fireworks to celebrate (nearly getting kills in the process). then by 3 i was virtaully unconcious, and was very ill....

NYE is never good....always a let down :(

keep it simple i say...stay in with your X-Box, some beer, your decks and some kettle chips.......bliss.....

Sundis Norf NYD was one of my best ever clubbing memories....

Going out is far more fun than staying in?!?!?!? You stay in about 4 nights a week... Your at house parties about 2-4 nights a week.... find a decent nye event (not bleeding crasher, gods, cream or mos) and go out!

    old gits!

No hints yet as I have a few avenues to investigate, but will most likely be a small party for those that kiss my arse enough! :D

The msg board isn't gonna fill a venue though and the DJ's would be pretty expensive.

glitter> there's not that many ppl at promise who are from the board, week in, week out.. not enuff to fill a decent venue anyways.. plsu ppl will be going to gods/crasher/the dig etc so that'll detract some of the fri night regs aswell. next yr though, i think promise will have a big enough dedicated enough travelling crowd to allow it to pull off a succesful event.
