if u dont like the bouncers at foundation, dont go to foundation.

you dont get tickets as such, theyre reciepts. how many of you actually keep the tickets and dont just drop them on the floor the instant u get threw the doors?

if ur wanting to spend the night getting fresh air, jsut stay outside, dont bother going to the club.

despite what u lot think, the bouncers dont just walk up to you and punch you for no reason. i know my veiw of them is slightly biased as im a lass and have never got into trouble and i work with them. The only reason they take ne action is if ur being a wanker...and trust me, there are a lot of you at foundation.

you all think that ur just being normal but have you ever gone out, been completly sober and not taken nething and tried to cope with 1000 people who are fucked of their tits?

if ur a wanker, then yeah, u might get kicked out or ruffed up or whatever...but its u thats wrong, thats what theyre paid for, to keep trouble out of the club!

if ur nice and reasonable, so are they.

I've never had any bother with the bouncers, always say hi/cheers on way in/out...and on the rare occasion when ive asked if i can go get some food or whatever, they have always said "yea but be quick"

I see no reason why you shouldnt be allowed out to get something to eat though, thats a shite policy. Not just foundation but everywhere....dont see the point!

At the end of the day though, they do a good job, if there is ever any bother, they are quick to sort it...at the end of the day, most of the time if you arnt a cause to give them any grief, they are sound.

bouncers jobs are to keep trouble out the club, not to reassure the paranoid drug freaks that they have a friend and someone loves them if you go over to a bouncer and tell them how much you love them, your bound to be searched, coz its obvious your a pill head.....they are just doing their jobs, which is to keep gurning arseholes out the club!

I don't see why its a doormans job to be arsey, arrogant, aloof and aggressive? Its a doormans job to control who comes in and out the club - they can do this with a smile.... If they don't like "pilled up little drug heads" they're really working in the the wrong profession!

I think the problem lies in the fact most doormen are thugs - despite licensing laws.

there is a large section of doorstaff who take these on a regular basis....& you'll find that most of them are a ticking time bomb....you rub them up the wrong way & they'll snap...u mite've only said hello but that cud do it...

i've seen a doorman drag his 8 mth pregnant girlfriend up the street whe she was lying on the floor cos she went into a local nite club where he worked & someone looked at them cos he started hurling abuse at her....

he also thied to throw my mate down the stairs & also tried to have her killed...he decided he didn't like her after he'd got her together with his best mate!!! to this day she'll still not go anywhere where he is working as he's liable to snap when he see's her....i know him & once asked him why he hated her & he cudn't answer....i just do! wtf!

You're right about the roid thing and their temper, i've seen first hand what they do to you, so that definately has a role to play in some situations that occur. Also some doormen work more than one club so they take shit loads of speed and coke to stay up. Time bomb

so have i & it's not funny....i stopped 1 of the doormen in our local niteclub going to break up a fight cos i knew he wud kill the ppl involved & there was already 4 doormen attending the incident...

there was a lad who got thrown down some stairs for starting to wank himself off in a club & there was a few ppl who took offense to it....his head bounce of the wall & then the bannister down about 6 stairs...several doorman then came to help him out b4 their colleague threw the already semi-consious customer down a furth 15/20 stairs!

The bouncers are always fine with me. i dont know why everyone is scared of them? especially that craig bloke? he seems fine to me...! they do a pretty good job i reckon...

i personally have never had any problems with the doorstaff at promise...i'm polite to them & they're polite to me....i try to avoid them later on in the nite cos i dare say i'd do their heads in....i know when to & not to speak/annoy doormen...if u go near them just after an incident has occurred they're much less receptive cos their addrenaline is pumping....

they are highly paid for what they do & i do feel for them sometimes but i also don't agree with how some of them go on! i think they are on occasions prone to abusing the bit of authority that they have!!!

Same here I think they're OK. Always try to avoid them if possible but I would do that with any bouncers. At the end of the day there is a lot of people in there who are doing illegal things so you can't blame them for not being the most friendly people

i dont know them at all, and they are always fine. They even say thanks, good night etc. when i leave normally...

they sometime push past me in the club when they are about to get someone tho! And i sometimes get the flashlight shined at me when im looking at money in my hands, as they think its drugs or something. but they are just doing their job.
