Mature students are normally hated for being semi-intelligible and reasonably articulate, you'll do fine

Mianly drug and STD knowledge. I also try to help with finding employment and courses at college. I work in Amble, which has a lot of problems. In the past two months, two regular visitors have died in a car crash, one 13 year old girl, it turns out, has been sleeping with a man in his forties since she was ten. He's now thankfully been arrested, but she's going through all sorts, with nonce lover painted on her door etc. And there is an influx of tablets called "Blues", which the kids have been taking, which we've found out are PromAce (promazine - dog tranqs), so everyone is fucked every night. Nice relaxed atmosphere

well at least il know the area of work im studying quite well im just hoping there will me more females on my course and im not stuck with a bunch of blokes

Newcastle University is a lot better than Northumbria, at least for most subjects, but it is overrun by rahs called Herbert and the like, who are generally all absolute pricks.

Newcastle Uni has more students from a public school background than any other uni in the UK (approx 35%), so there are a lot of rah's. But if your not a rah, and want to go to a uni for good grades, then its great, cos you don't have to mix with them, hence less distractions than if you we're in a uni where your peers were similar to you.
