I think this thread is typical of the way the boards been lately.

Newish / less known people get jumped on so badly for every little thing. Everyone just steams in quick as they can to show they were the first one stamping out a non-pc comment.

Ok the lad hasnt made the best comment in the world, but i hardly think he meant it in the way some people seem to think.

Doesnt encourage newbies to post. In fact at the Vuzz before last, i spoke to 3 people who say they read the board loads but never post. And it was hardly like i was wondering about talking to loads of randoms. Just made me think, im sure there are loads more. Theres always plenty of guests viewing.

Think a lot of people are almost scared to post!

At the end of the day, the board is here to promote Promise. More people joining is good for the club. It isnt here just to keep a few egos inflated.

Thats their problem, not mine. They need to grow up a bit if they're scared to post.
