total refit.

Totally different layout. Stage Door hadn't changed in near on twenty years and was in need of the faclift.

Downstairs has a much better feel to it with the DJ booth moving to the other side of the dancefloor. Upstairs is a major improvement and feels so much bigger.

Looking forward to seeing it finished and when its got sweaty clubbers in it instead of sweaty workmen!

You should come down tomorrow night for Richard Fearless to see what they've done.

It was still a building site last time I was down but the DJ booth has been moved into the middle of the room, they've built a new stage at the far end (where the DJ booth used to be), put in a new soundsystem, stripped both rooms to give them a more warehousey feel, and knocked down one of the walls upstairs to make it bigger.
