gods owns poly so that wouldnt happen as promise is tied in with gods biggest rivales in goodgreef and if poly goes anywere north bound it would be madders returning to leeds i would think ;) if you want true hh then i suggest you travell mate as when we do get hh dj's up here they tend to play more on the hd side of the genre , we want dj,s we aint seen before playing hh in newcastle but doubt that will happen for a while;) if it does then fair play to mark for those who dont like it tuff its about time we had another hh night and you have to admit the hh nights have the best party atmoss

agreed they do give the the best atmosphere, even wen it aint a hh dj playin, the atmosphere gets better once the dj ends a lil harder

I think hard as nails would work so long as it's promoted in the right way with the right line-up too.

Bouncy HH is perhaps more commercially viable in so much as it'll pull in more of the fringe punters rather than the HH faithful, taking on board the point that the HH faithful are lacking in numbers in Newcastle. For the right line-up though, I'm sure people would travel somewhat. Why do local people travel to Leeds/Tall Trees? Because they can't see the people they want to see up here. Why? Because it's viewed as too much of a risk to book them. If we're willing to travel down there (Tall Trees) for average line-ups (Tidy Boys & Tiserra for example) then I'd sure people would travel up here for potentially excellent line-ups (Farley, Ian M, BK, etc)?

That's just my opinion though but feel free to comment! :D

Mark EG is more hardstyle than HH though, isn't he? :spangled: Not that fussed on hardstyle from what I've heard so far but could be proved wrong...

would be very very risky tho mate, think of the names tuff/ quality have had on, and both nights failed to get the punters in. up here unless its a lashes/ anne savage (ie a name the mainstream have heard of) you dont get the people through the doors. im not a hard house fan myself, tho dont mind hard dance/ hstyle/ htrance, but still went to every quality and was sad to see ppl like tinrib/ glazby playing to half empty dance floors.

mark eg is just hard!!! plays bits hardstyle, well as very hard techno and hh, anything with lots of bass really mate!!! mark has mentioned his name in past promise hard threads as possible future dj, we can only hope  :D
