Tonight was another fantastic result, it all hinges on the next match (and whether Juve can vbe bothered to play or not ), but at least we finally have a bit of future in our hands.

As for the game amgainst Juventus, I reckon we had a bit of luck in part although we did give a fighting spirit in aattack, OUR DEFENSE WAS AWFUL!! (The fact that Griffin scored shows we're a better attacvking team than we are defending.)

HOWEVER we deserve a bit of luck when you consider how well we played in first 3 games and lost each one. Especially valid is:

1. Our equaliser against Juventus away should have stood, except it was cancelled out for offside- (the Ref went up to Shearer in the dresssing room not long after the match and apologised for getting "confused with the rules" reports Talk of the Tyne .com fanzine). That means we would of been 1-1 at one point, could possibly of beenp inspired to a win from there, or we could have drew. otherwise a loss (which bears no relevance as we came away with nowt anyway) but a goal would be added to oyur "goals for" score in the group table, which could be important in our next game if level points is an issue (is that possible between Toon and Kiev?? I mit e be wrong but think thaKiev are on 7 pts n we're on 6 which means if we draw and kiev lose then we're both swquare. but kiev have a goal extra over us cand would go thru ion goals for.).. thats longwinded n ive lost me train of thought cos of beer but i think ive covered it all :spangled:

2. What the fuck happened with Kiev's goal tonighht??? that ref got it wrong without a doubt, n just as me ma said "if they get a goal from this it's... shocking", they scored.

Tere were other points, but cant rembember all, basically weve had a lot of hard luck and a lot of turning point decisions fgo against us in Europe, so we deserve 9 out of 9 remaining points! n i apologise for spelling but io cant see the screen hardly.

AS much as i dont wanna be accused for dragging threads out long term,i have tio comment on tonights match.

But first i wanna saty that ir think that we should have a bit of this site dedicated to the toon as Promise is based in Newcastle. There's alot of us like a bit of kick n tickle that is the beautiful sport (well some of us get the tickle), n can't be arsed to log onto Nufc.co.uk to post our thoughts.; so is there any chancer of it hgappenin?

As for tonights game, yes Boro should've had at least one penalty BUT we shouldve hgad a goal so we're even. They put good effort in but the Toon put better effort in and deserved to win/.
