How good would it be if Flying became one of them Nukluez outlets that gets all the nukleuz promos in well before they hit general release:D *wishful thinks*

you guys wanna live in boro!!

we have alan fearnleys which does get a cople of good uns but not too often!!

a new one just opened but when i went in and asked when they were getting some trance they said they were only getting underground stuff on overdose etc!!wtf!!

i asked for bonzai, vandit etc but they said hmv would undersell them!!i explained they could easily get them in miles before but dont think they quite clicked on!!

went in about a month ago and they told me about this class tune they were getting in called tomcraft-loneliness and asked if i'd heard of it!!

    i havn't been back!

Newcastle is crap for Trance, yes.

However, it's fantastic for Prog and House.

The reason for this being that our two main shops, HMV and Flying, are both run by Progressive/House DJs.
Flying, obviously run by the Shindig lads, touches on Trance, but 'specialises' in deep, dark, proggy house, and soulful US house.
HMV, run by mr Markus J, lived in Australia for 9 years and warmed up for Crasher a few times while he was there, as well as various radio slots and stuff. Has to get in bits of everything, but most of the underground stuff in there is prog or breaks (what he plays).

Never been but I've heard Concepts (think that's the name) in Durham is alright for trance.

Flying used to be a good shop for rave, hardcore & gabba. It is only it the last 3 or so years it has
lost touch being an independent, local specialist

Concepts I am sure used to be run/owned and may well still be by hardcore/rave legend DJMikey B.
