Unless Keane pulls something massively out of the bag then i cant see them being a threat to you's tbh, its only 4 games in though its interesting how Keane is doing without having unlimited reams of cash to play with. The Ipswich fans are already getting on his back - just spotted this on one of their fans forums: http://www.ipswich.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=4678&posts=8 Just hope he takes Daryl "unable to pass, shoot, head, jump, run, breathe" Murphy down there before he inevitably spits his dummy and walks, blaming the press/fans/players/board/anyone else except him for the poor start to the season.
i was discussing boro's chances with a mate last week, he reckoned that they'd be mint this season, i didn't think they'd do that well, but they've started brilliantly. johnson is looking to be a class player. boro has always had a good academy and it will probably work to their advantage this season when they can bring a lot of youth players in. definitely them and west brom we need to beat. perhaps cardiff, but i'd fucking love to see what chopra will do if he ends up one-on-one with harper again.
Boro will struggle if they lose Wheater & Huth, which is looking quiet likely if you believe The Sun Keane said he needs 2 years to get Ipswich up, I reckon so far he is well track
Hows it fickle? He done wonders for us but though he was bigger than the club then bottled it when it got tough.
I don't remember him thinking he was bigger than the club? He was a good manager, even though it seemed he had a lot to learn. If it hadn't been for him, Sunderland might have suffered two relegations in two seasons. Defo a bottler though. If he'd stayed, you lot would have stayed up anyway.
