    Breen and Caldwell are very good division 1 defenders but i agree wud struggle against the top strikers in the prem.

    But saying that i wud have Breen and Caldwell over any 2 of your centre halves anyday!:p

    I would rather have Bramble he is sterting to get the confidence he needs and is playing well only let in 1 goal in 3 games, 2 of them away

    tbh, i rate elliott when he's on form. bramble dont look bad of late, and no-one can deny the footballing pedigree of ronny johnsen.

    admittedly there's too much lying on them having a good game, bu as far as im concerned there is still a gulf in quality between newcastles and sunderlands defences (in favour of newcastle).
