Well, £20 for 12 hours doesn't sound too bad too me, £1.66 an hour, bargain i'd say!!! Anyway, I would rather give that bit extra cash to support a number of local DJs and friends!!!

Shindig is £20 on NYE I think, mind.

However, you'll be paying for a normal Saturday night, just double the price.
As good as Yousef is, he's the only guest DJ on the night, with Scott Bradford and Mark Armstrong also playing in the main room, and Scooby and the rest of the ressies playing "Backroom Classics".
I'd much rather go to Conspiracy, with a more friendly environment, people I'm familiar with, and a wider selection of DJs.
As I've said, I haven't heard many of the DJs on the lineup, but those I have heard are fantastic.
This is the true Geordie NYE experience, packed with homegrown talent, and I'm gutted I can't go!

I know what style some play but others I am not sure about.

truth is im a crowd pleaser... I have a range of styles but they are all hard!

I normally just play to whatever suits at the time and venue, also depending on whos before or after me.

im renowned for 3 different styles:

- Banging Techno
- Hard Tech influenced Trance
- and the more Judge Julesy commercial trance.

but whatever night i play i always like to get the crowd going somehow -

- its definitely all evil though! hehe

I believe that BA is keeping normal prices.

Norma does not work there any more sadly.

However she may be drafted in to help me. will have to see how things go.

tickets go on sale on Friday at the Egypt Cottage and Rockies Bar, (2 carefully selected venues)

Detox is on at Egypt Fri, and SPANK! is on there on Sat. Sun Trading is on there on Sunday. All attract a cool crowd, and as i'm manager there at weekends I can tell randoms that the tickets are sold out, keeping the clientele suitably exclusive and safe and cool.

I hope this makes sense as I've had a few voddies (1st night off in a while).

I hope that this reassures those of you that worry that this may be a pure piss up as oppose to a proper clubbers party. :angel:
