    :)

It's typical how the board has become shite when I have more time to kill. As soon as I go back to uni the randoms will probably grow bored and it'll pick up again!

What are you doing at uni?
Having nothing to do was great at first but sometimes gets a bit boring, when all my friends are working and other people seem to be busy all the time. Shouldn't moan though, as next year is going to be hellish hard!

this isnt the first promise board, there was an earlier one, which very few people were actually a part of, but it probably still exists... :p

and i've been here long enough to consider myself old enough...

but not the original old school, although i wasnt bloody far off :p

as for the age old 'state of the board' debate... i've read it so many times i have an answer to it pre planned - it fluctuates, goes from one extreme to the other as people change, leave, new people arrive etc... and so it will probably continue....

trust me, i might not be 'official' old school but im a good observer and i've been on here long enough to see the pattern ;) :fart:

Im kinda middle school :p Was class when I first joined and it had apparently been better still.

I think its a mixture of things that's changed it to what it is. People changing, getting older, fave music changing is some of the main things. 2/3 years ago the "old school" probs would have loved the stuff that gets posted these days, but cos they've been there done that and grown up, its just not what everyone wants anymore.

I post when I see something interesting or when I've got something to talk about. I avoid threads that I know arent gonna be my thing and have a slight giggle at the state of some of them. But these people will evolve like everyone else and things will change again.

I used to love this board and the people on it, and I used to post lots and I mean lots. 20+ a day easy. 14000 posts in 2 years is a lot  But its not just the stuff and people on the board thats changed that.

Let whoever post whatever and do your own stuff too. If its good enuf, it wont get drowned out and even if it does, the right people will find it. :)

Fuck, how long is that post???
