Even though Malouda hasnt done much at Chelski i reckon he would be a good signing for a club outside of the big 4. He was awesome in France before Mourinho brought him to the Prem and a move to a club like Newc would probs be a good deal for all concerned IMO.

Its for that reason I hope yous dont end up getting him in ;)

Malouda is a decent player - newcastle would be lucky to get him

    Departure:
    Milner exit looms

The Daily Mirror are reporting that James Milner is undergoing a medical at Aston Villa after a transfer fee believed to be in excess of £10m was agreed.

All eyes now turn to this afternoon's pre-match press conference, while it remains to be seen whether the owner will take his place in the away end tomorrow.

Personally i cant see Keegan taking this too well, i really dont think he is gonna be here for much longer maybe even Xmas max?

There's all sorts going on man and cracks appearing all the time, that little cockney cunt Wise was the start of all this then Ashley saying there was then isnt money??

Its a total farce, unless there's someone lined up of the same if not better quality as Milner then were fucked for a winger.

Least that "new signing with a body as fit as a teenager" in Damien Duff kept fit as well, money grabbing sicknote cunt.

I can honestly say I've never felt more disillusioned as a Newcastle fan. Even when it looked like we were going to get relegated last season, I gave my full support to the team and watched every game with the belief that we were going to stay up and turn it round in the summer. Once again that hasn't happened, and if anything we have slipped behind even more teams in the Premiership. We can't get the players in because they don't have the desire to come to Newcastle when they can be paid higher wages or play in Europe elsewhere. I said when Wise came in that he would be manager within 2 years and I can still see that happening, perhaps sooner rather than later.

What's the problem exactly?!?! £12m for Milner is fucking fantastic business, especially when you take this into consideration!!

Last season Milner contributed a grand total of two assists to Newcastle - fewer than renowned creator Joey Barton - and boasted a cross completion rate of just 18.39% - worse than ace flankers Stephen Hunt, Eddie Lewis and George McCartney. Newcastle won a mere 24% of the matches in which Milner featured, compared to 44% of those in which he didn't play.

Yes he was a grafter but he was never gonna get any better and to get that much money for him is good business!

and to be fair it's not like he was sold under kk's nose - milner handed in the request.

If he doesn't want to play for us, he should go and I wish him the best wherever he ends up.

Looks like a good bit of business to me, hopefully they'll use the money to get someone else in who actually wants to play for the club.

    nail on the head mate!

like keegan said the tranfer is good news for all parties involved (and even for leeds too) and if (and its a big if) keegan is right, that there are at least 2/3 replacements lined up - then happy days!
