We've only won three games, its hardly on fire really! We are playing well but lets not get too carried away because if it all starts going wrong all of this will get shoved back in your face. Thats why I am staying fairly quiet!

No fewer than 16 senior Sunderland players have left the club already this season, albeit a couple on loan. My question is where is the back up going to cover for the 11 that you're fielding now? For instance, if "Killa" Kyle gets injured, who (or what...I was thinking along the lines of a donkey) are you going to replace him with? The squad you currently have is wafer thin if I'm brutally honest and I'm sure a lot of Sunderland fans would agree with me. I just really don't think you've got enough strength in depth to be a serious promotion candidate, as lets face it, the money that has been recouped is unlikely to be spent on new players coming in as its more likely that McCarthy will try to bring players in on loan!

We have Proctor to replace Kyle. A lot of first division clubs have thin squads now as most can't afford to have many players. We still have more than one player in each position (except left wing) its just a lot of them are youngsters.

I didn't think we would be able to mount a serious challenge but now that I have seen more first division football I think we can unless of course Arca and Thornton fuck off at Christmas!
