correct me if i am wrong but didnt booking / not booking dj precision at FMs, MONO etc.. whatever the hell its renbranded as bankrupt them

but i daresay bankrupt implies they had money to startwith and this leadS me into a classic

DETOX WERE OFFERED THE WEEKLY slot on a friday at the cottage in 2002 and if theyd took it therE would have been NO VUZZ

Detox never touched Vuzz for numbers back in your cottaging days.

And Vuzz went down because paul had the piss ripped out of him.

JOE, dont insult my knoweledge and intelligence re: this

the busiest the egypt cottge has been in recent years was
    (1) august detox 2002 for phil cogans birthday when we got about 150 in a 100 upstairs capacity venue, it was so busy it was 4 deep at the bar and they ran out of most of the spirits
    &

    (2) the unofficial gods kitchen afterparty for sunday trading in march 2002 or march 2003

vuzz at best used to get about half full, and then mainly on the nights when promise ran

when promise didnt run and it was weekly there were nights when i went there and there were about 10 people in

i dnt know the exact politics of the precisision thing but the main reason it died from where i am standing is infighting, over eagerness to build the night and run it far to regulalrly when trance was going through a bad spell and the sacking of the whats on forum by deakin

I don't realy care about the whole argument but i don't think vuzz was ever big, they tried booking a couple of big names which sometimes paid off then other times drawed a blank, apart from that it had a few people going there before promise to meet mates etc, i stil had a laugh though :)
