i can remember long befor the days of the after dark & monkey when it was the venue,rockshots & colosseum....now them were the days with ya walkman with ya gameboy headphones one in your ear one in ya mates on the back of the scholars
I can remember long before that when it was the days of Rez,glalatica,Nocturnal, judgement day,the Blue monkey and the original Power house tapes on the way home from school. I actual used and still do like some of the original rave Mc's like Ribbz,MC Man Parris,Everson Alan from The Ratpack. I know i am getting old but these guys are just Charva's on speed saying the first thing that comes into there heads.
I used to go to the afterdark when i was 14/15. Went loads of times and im not ashamed to say it. Used to tell me ma i was sleeping at me mates and vice versa. It was my grass roots, crash course into the concept of a rave and generally feeling amazingly overwhelmed by how the music was making me feel. I had my first drug experiences with fiver wraps of speed etc. Its funny as fuck looking back on it. I completely despise the music now and the people that go there, but have absolutely no regrets. At the time it was a total thrill and i fucking loved it
After watching this video again I decided I really hated whoever these two gimps are and proceeded to leave angry comments on a few of their shit videos, I then made myself look worse than them by pressing the post button too many times and not knowing how to remove my comments
